Awarding cash and prizes valued at over $50,000, Queer Idol 2012 is the world's biggest LGBT multi-discipline talent contest!

In addition to this, Queer Idol has an impressive line-up of celebrity judges and is one of the most publicized LGBT events in Canada.

In our first three seasons, Queer Idol was strictly a vocal contest.  But in 2012, we will award FOUR crowns:

• Top Vocalist - December 9, January 13, February 10, 2012
  (hosted by Crystal Lite)

• Top Musician - March 9, April 13, May 11, 2012
  (hosted by Paul Bellini)

• Top Dancer - June 8, July 13, August 10, 2012
  (hosted by Deb Pearce)

• Top Comedian - September 14, 2012

Queer Idol's mission is to create visibility, professional development and networking opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) performing artists -- as well as our straight allies.  Our prizes are geared towards furthering our top performers' careers in each discipline. 

Queer Idol is held on the second Friday of each month at 120 Church Street, Toronto, Canada.  Doors open at 9pm. $9 cover ($5 with student ID).
