Spectra Showcase & Career Launch is thrilled to offer $30,000 in cash and prizes, performance opportunities, and workshops to amateur performers (of all disciplines) who reside in Ontario, Canada.
Since 2009, our mission is to create an inclusive community of artists who can holistically express themselves regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, ability/disability, and/or ethnicity.

Spectra has an impressive Jury of established artists and is one of Toronto's most-publicized events.
In our first three seasons, Spectra (then known as Queer Idol) was a showcase for vocalists. But in 2012, we expanded by welcoming performers of all disciplines and walks.
Spectra is a division of the Rainbow Association of Canadian Artists (a registered non-profit organization).
